This Morning

Today began with a start! As my mind and heart surfaced from the depths of rest and healing, right before my face were three BLANK WHITE PAGES. The one on the far left was small, like a half sheet of an 8×10. It was rather frayed around the edges and looked used; but was still blank. The next two going from left to right were regular 8×10 blank pages, also used. The image smacked me right in the face-your-faults!

One respected counselor used the word ‘lazy’ once, and, like a large pill, i have attempted to swallow that for some time. Maybe it is true. Maybe ‘lazy’ explains the lack of production and those blank pages forced awareness.

Nevertheless, ( i love this word) these blank pages MUST be populated with content that encourages and challenges not only the reader, but especially the writer…me!

I know in my heart that the Creator scalded my morning with this image to burn into me the URGENCY of these great and final days.

So many times inspiration has birthed nuggets scribbled on half sheets, journal pages, napkins and coasters. Yes, i keep them all and review sometimes to purge or enhance the thoughts…but not to completion! Lazy? I guess. Yet, how selfish of me to not ‘flesh-out’ these nuggets for the potential edification of others.

The half-sheets and the full sheets will be flipped over and organized. So I say, ‘watch this space;’ follow the podcast…”Because It’s Important,” and perhaps some nuggets of truth and some useable techniques will emerge to bless your life…and mine. 🙂

Look up…we don’t have long to wait.
